These After-Party Heroes Deliver Cookies and Ice Cream Until 3 A.M.
A new late-night delivery service will curb the munchies.

Adam Furukawa and Gianni Santucci founded the Midnight Cookie Co. (Fremont, 1058 N 39th St.; 206.632.1237) after graduating from Gonzaga University—where they met—and jumping into Seattle-based jobs that left them uninspired. The sweet-toothed night owls put their heads together and devised a service that was lacking here: late-night cookie delivery, something Santucci knew well from Wichita, Kansas, his hometown.
“We’re just two guys who love cookies,” says Furukawa with a smile.
With deliveries made well into the early morning (until 3 a.m., Thursday through Saturday) and an average delivery radius of 3 miles from its Fremont storefront, Midnight Cookie Co. delivers its eponymous treats—as well as sides such as milk and Full Tilt ice cream—via five outsourced delivery companies. The “grandma-style” recipes were developed by Furukawa and longtime friend Richard Baker, and popular varieties include classic chocolate chip, s’mores and cookies ’n’ cream. The company’s latest flavor is the signature Midnight Cookie, featuring dark and white chocolate, and caramel.
Cookie-crazed customers can also visit the company’s Fremont shop—which features a video game station and coffee from Seattle’s Lighthouse Roasters—during delivery hours to keep the good times rolling well past midnight.
