Did you know that during the winter months you’re supposed to open your windows for five minutes per day to circulate fresh air throughout your home? Neither did I.

This is why I’ve chosen to rely on a monthly home maintenance calendar, created courtesy of the home improvement experts at Eastlake-based Porch.com. For December, the calendar features helpful home reminders such as how to check your GFCI outlets, when to schedule an attic insulation specialist and tips for staying safe this holiday season. It’s a must-download for any homeowner.
