“This is the most special home my wife and I have had together,” Dr. Millington said. “When we first saw it, it was in pretty fair shape. But we were outbid, so we had to wait until about 10 years ago, when it became available again.
“By that time, it was really crying out for help,” he continued. “There was a lot of deferred maintenance. We started remodeling and, in doing so, we began to love it more and more.”
The home, which is now on the market for $2.05 million, has an updated kitchen that is more than four times the size of the original, radiant cooling and heating, and a lap pool that can be enjoyed year-round thanks to an enclosed glass atrium.
