New Belgium Clips Beer and Film Tour at Gas Works Park
Friday (7/29, 8 p.m.) Movies plus craft beer—now that’s a great double feature. New Belgium Brewing’s Clips Beer and Film event brings almost 20 beers and a selection of short films to a big, inflatable screen at Gas Works Park. Leashed dogs, low chairs, kids and picnics are welcome and there will be food trucks and bike valets on site.

Wine Country Blues Festival at Chateau Ste. Michelle
Sunday (7/31, 3 p.m.) Prepare for good tunes and good wine: Blues performers Shemekia Copeland, The James Hunter Six, Mavis Staples and the Robert Cray Band headline this year’s event.

Strictly Seattle Takes the Stage
(7/29 to 7/30, times vary) Each year, a group of dancers immerse themselves in a workshop where they partake in the creation and performance of new works by esteemed Seattle choreographers. This year’s choreographers are Zoe Scofield, Amy O’Neal, Alice Gosti, Mark Haim, Marlo Martin and Rosa Vissers. The event also features films created by students of filmmaker/choreographer KT Niehoff’s Dance Film Track program.

Stroll the Annual Bellevue Arts Museum Artsfair
(7/29 to 7/31, times vary) The 70th annual Bellevue Arts Museum Artsfair features booths with wares from more than 300 inspiring artists, showcasing handmade crafts and art representing modern, traditional and emerging work. Programming also includes BAM exhibitions, Kidsfair, food trucks and site-specific artwork.

Saturday (7/30, 3 p.m.) Ballard’s beloved Nordic Heritage Museum will soon get a new home. A groundbreaking ceremony for the brand new 57,875-square-foot museum and cultural center that’s slated to open in early 2018 takes place this Saturday at 2655 NW Market Street.
