Pride Parade and Seattle Center PrideFest
(6/30) The 45th annual Seattle Pride Parade is just around the corner and everyone is invited. The parade will move along Fourth Avenue, displaying plenty of color and support for our city’s LGBTQ community. Banners, posters and an abundance of love are all encouraged. Viewers are advised to watch the parade from the sidewalks to assure the safety and flow of pride marchers. After the parade, head over to Seattle Center for PrideFest to continue the celebrations. 11 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Free. Downtown, Fourth and Union St.; 206.322.9561; seattlepride.org/parade

Negroni Week
(Through 6/30) Three is the magic number when it comes to classic cocktail ingredients, so get your fix of Campari, Gin and good ol’ sweet vermouth during the remainder of Negroni Week. But don’t worry, your buzz is for a charitable cause: More than 12,000 bars and restaurants around the world are stirring up Negronis (or variations of the drink) for the weeklong celebration, with a percentage of proceeds being directly donated to their chosen charity partner. Arts in Nature Festival
(6/29–6/30) See more than 60 local artists perform among the trees at Camp Long, West Seattle’s unique urban park and event space. Since it’s pride weekend, there’s a special focus this year on queer, trans and gender-nonconforming artists. Times vary. Free. Camp Long, West Seattle, 5200 35th Ave. SW; dnda.org/festival

Craft Classic Half Marathon & 5K
(6/30) Seattleites love their craft beer and exercise, so why not create an event and mix the two? This race offers a course overlooking riverside views, so getting your morning sweat on isn’t half bad. Plus, the Iron Horse beer garden will be waiting for participants 21+ once they cross the finish line—a little inspiration to pick up the pace. All participants get a free pint glass, official event shirt and custom finisher medal. Times and prices vary. Greatest Hits Tour: Chart Toppers and Heart-Stoppers
(6/29) This walking tour put on by the Seattle Architecture Foundation promises to show Seattleites and tourists alike, the context and culture behind the city’s architectural hotspots. Check out popular favorites such as Rem Koolhaas’ asymmetric design of the Central Library, and featured stops including the Fifth Avenue Plaza and Seattle City Hall. You’ll get the inside scoop of the social and historical forces that shaped the city we see today. 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Prices vary.
