Thank goodness it’s Friday! And what a good Friday it is after a particularly stellar season opener last night by the ‘Hawks. Our defense definitely lived up to its outstanding reputation. A wonderful weekend awaits and if you need some inspiration on what to do, check out our weekend Must List

In case you were too busy getting ready for the big game this week and didn’t have time to read some of our top stories, it’s okay we understand—and we’re here to help. Here’s a list of what you might have missed. Happy catching up!

1. Two amazing game day/tailgating menus from two amazing Seattle chefs 
Amy Pennington and Cynthia Nims cooked up two eclectic menus that would make your fellow tailgaters very happy and full. Along with the menu ideas, they kindly shared their recipes too. Use these ideas all season long!

Drygoods is moving from Ballard to Pioneer Square and celebrating about it. Today at 6 p.m., there will be a grand opening party with some bubbly and free giveaways. They are also offering a ton of DIY classes and are stocked with some pretty fab fabrics that you need to see to believe.

7. Fab-U-Wish at Westfield Southcenter
E! News host Giuliana Rancic is coming to Southcenter on Sunday, September 14 for a champagne brunch, fashion show, and pampering event. Tickets are on sale and all proceeds go to Rancic’s Fab-U-Wish foundation. Guests receive free gifts too!

8. Fashion Week at Bellevue Collection
One of the best multiple night fashion events in the region is back for its tenth year. Dress to the nines and come to experience emerging fashion talent, the newest trends on the runway and in beauty, and other fabulous features from September 24-28. Buy your tickets early as they are limited in availability.

9. Deep Sea Diver’s Always Waiting EP released yesterday
Jessica Dobson’s band released the highly awaited extended play Always Waiting—a follow up to 2011’s History Speaks. Check out their ecclectic Indie sound on Soundcloud or iTunes.

10. In Bed With Nancy and Joe Guppy
Nancy Guppy interviews Joe Guppy who is best known for his stint as a writer/performer on the comedy show Almost Live. But did you know he was once a patient in the psych ward at Providence Hospital?
