Despite the name, producing social media content can be an isolating experience. Between capturing an image or video and the hours of editing that follow, the process is challenging to pull off without a dedicated space. Local product designer Christabelle Granadosin was feeling the tedium with her photo booth venture, so she decided to launch Play Studios—a workplace for creatives to level up their output.

“As a founder, I was constantly creating content for my own business,” Granadosin recalls. “Setting up, filming, scrapping takes, starting over—and wishing there was a space where creating didn’t feel like such a solo grind. I wanted a place where you could show up, create something you’re proud of, and leave feeling more confident than when you walked in.”

Play Studios, a 900-square-foot space in Kirkland, now offers that. Clients have access to private rooms with expert editorial lighting and numerous backdrop options (which are ideal for content creation across multiple platforms), as well as headshots, style collaborations, and event space. As Granadosin notes, “Play Studios exists for creators and founders who are building in real time and want to grow alongside people who get it.”
