There’s nothing like the Pacific Northwest during the summer months, and there’s no doubt that one of the best ways to enjoy the agreeable weather is lazily lounging on a beautiful patio. The ultimate dream is for that patio to be your own. A place to curl up with a good book, or entertain friends and family. A place where the indoors seamlessly blends with the out. That’s the goal for each of the 16 patios at Summerwell, a brand-new Mercer Island community.

Recently named “Community of the Year” at the 2017 Tribute Awards by the New Home Council, Summerwell’s homes, designed by renowned McCullough Architects, reflect a contemporary design aesthetic with clean lines, open indoor spaces and functional outdoor living areas. Each home is designed for an easy flow of living, both visually and practically.

Modern and graceful LaCantina folding glass door panel wall systems help to seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces, where outside, a combination of pavers and top cast concrete are balanced to create a natural yet highly finished look.

Each patio features a covered component, anchored by a stately outdoor fireplace, for cozying up on late afternoons and evenings. Optional upgrades such as infrared heaters also ensure warmth during cool weather, and switched exterior soffit outlets further enhance accessibility and comfort. Designed for easy entertainment, optional built-in BBQs make cooking for a crowd just as convenient as grilling an intimate summer meal for two.

The patios are strategically situated for enjoyment of the lush landscaping, where the heritage plantings of the original site are blended with a unique plan for each home. Additional touches include custom fencing for privacy and outdoor lighting for overall atmosphere.

As with the rest of the Summerwell Homes features, sleek design is effortlessly blended with comfort and functionality for everyday luxury living.

Of the 16 homes on site, there are still 7 properties available. Visit summerwellhomes.com for more information.
